Thomas Szoke - President & CEO
Thomas R. Szoke serves as President and Chief Executive Officer and a Director of the Company. Mr. Szoke has over 25 years of engineering, global sales and operations management as well as extensive field experience and is one of the founding members of Innovation In Motion, Inc., founded in April of 2009, and was the Chief Operating Officer of Innovation In Motion Inc., which was merged into IIM Global Corporation in August of 2013. Mr. Szoke pioneered the concept and development and is the inventor of IIM Global Corps HDR Intelligent Accessory product lines, which was the technological basis for IIM Global Corps Inventory Control Handheld (ICH) and Handheld Voter Registration Device used in the Ghana elections in 2012. He is also the visionary behind the tested concept of IIM Global Corps SRIO Mobile Payment Solution.
Mr. Szoke is recognized as an expert and visionary in his field. He is one of a kind when it comes to navigating and dealing with the complexities between technology, new product development and business. Mr. Szoke has over 25 years in the high tech industry with a variety of technology companies, over 21 years of global business operations experience and global sales experience and over 5 years of experience in small business management.
Mr. Szoke spent 23 years with Motorola, Inc. gaining experience in field and product engineering, systems integration, program management and sales. Mr. Szoke was the Country Manager for Hungary for all of Motorola, Inc. Mr. Szoke also possesses 10 years of experience in the Biometrics Industry in management, sales, partnership development and technology/engineering development. Mr. Szoke is a degreed Electrical Engineer and is fluent in English and Hungarian.
Douglas Solomon - Chairman & COO
Douglas Solomon has over 30 years of hands-on experience in the management of corporations and international subsidiaries. His experience includes over 13 years in international sales and marketing within the high-tech industry. Prior to founding ID Solutions, Douglas held various positions as President and/or CEO of various US-based and international companies. His experience and responsibilities include every aspect of running a business, people management, financial controls, resource planning and expansion/growth strategy of the company and its stakeholders.
As a graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand, he started his career with Hewlett Packard in South Africa in 1979 and in 1985 left HP to start one of the largest HP OEM’s in Africa, under the banner of the then publicly traded “Square One Solutions Group”. In partnership with various local and international companies, Douglas has been instrumental in establishing a beach-head for numerous new ventures in a variety of high-tech focused opportunities.
Maxim Umarov - CTO
Maxim Umarov serves as Chief Technology Officer of the company and is a veteran of the IT industry with over 15 years of experience in the fields of Biometrics and Security.
Maxim has held a variety of positions ranging from System Administrator to Vice President of Engineering at several high-tech companies in the US and Russia. He has successfully led teams in the design and deployment of large scale IT and biometrics systems for government and enterprise customers around the world.
Early on in his career Maxim pursued scientific research in the areas of advanced control theory and particle physics.
Mr. Umarov received his Master of Science and Engineering Degrees with honors from Bauman Moscow State Technical University with majors in Engineering and Applied Mathematics. His credentials include IT security certifications from companies such as Cisco and Microsoft, as well as INFOSEC CNSS 4011 & 4013 (Information Security Professional) certification granted by Committee for National Systems Security (CNSS) and U.S. National Security Agency (NSA).
Charles Albanese - CFO
Charles Albanese has more than 25 years of financial and operations experience in both public and private companies. He cultivated his senior management experience as part of the business team at AT&T Wireless Services for over 16 years. Charles' leadership skills coupled with his knowledge of finance, audit, tax, security and real estate helped enable this start-up to become the premier wireless telecommunications carrier in the nation.
At Cambridge Management Group LLC, one of the leading pre-settlement finance companies, Charles served as COO/CFO. During this time the revenue doubled and he lead the rebuilding of the entire infrastructure including IT, policies, procedures, staffing, facilities and telecommunications. His key strengths include financial management, turnaround management, facilities administration, team project leadership, security operations and systems implementation. Charles holds a BS in Business Administration from Manhattan College and is a certified ODI Facilitator.
Matthew Cordis - VP Operations
Matthew Cordis has more than 13 years of legal, financial and operations experience. Following graduation from Washington University (B.S.B.A., magna cum laude) and Loyola University Chicago School of Law (J.D., with honors), Matthew began his legal career at Clarke Silverglate & Campbell in Miami, one of the top peer-rated law firms in the State of Florida. Matthew became the youngest Partner in the Firm’s history, attaining that role after only six years. Following his tenure at Clarke Silverglate, Matthew served as President of CBC Global Capital, LLC, including responsibility for the company’s operations in the Republic of Colombia.
In addition, Matthew served as Campaign Chief of Staff during the 2006 Miami Beach Mayor’s Election, served on the City of Miami Beach’s Finance and Citywide Projects Committee, and sat as President of the Presidential Condominium Association in Miami Beach (2005 and 2006), in which capacity he was responsible for the Association’s finances, budgets and long-term strategic development. From 2008 through 2010, Matthew also served on the Board of Directors of Plus International Bank in Miami. Matthew, who is fluent in Spanish, brings to IDGS a wide range of experience in the areas of legal, finance and operations, which will assist the Company in the structuring, management and execution of its international operations.
Héctor Franco Rojas - Director of Engineering
Héctor Rojas Franco has over 17 years of hands-on experience in
project management, information technology solutions implementation
and software development management. His experience includes 8+ years
in management and development of Information technology solutions
focused on business value delivery for industries such as
telecommunication, consulting, software makers and business process
outsourcing (BPO) and Information technology outsourcing (ITO).
Héctor is expert in service oriented architecture (SOA) and Business
Process Management (BPM) consulting including design and
implementation for telecommunications, banking, stock market and
trading companies. He has worked for companies in information
technology such as IBM, TIBCO, Millicom, Cast-Info, GRUPO ASD, and
DISAN LATAM gaining experience on team building, customer requirement
management, pre-sales, business process optimization, and business
services definition and implementation.
He is a degreed Systems engineering, specialized in information
systems in the organization, E-MBA and PMP certified.
Ricardo Galeano – VP Sales Latin America
Ricardo Galeano has over 22 year experience in high tech companies both as an executive and with experience in the management of business units. Ricardo is results oriented and has a proven track record on formulating and executing strategies to enter new markets. He has experience in the management of multidisciplinary and multicultural teams in Wireless Technologies, IT, Defense, Security and Biometrics. Ricardo has strong negotiation and leadership skills in the private and public sectors along with a deep knowledge of commercial partnerships, distribution channels management, Public Private Partnerships (PPP), BOO, BOT, concession agreements and Project Finance. Mr Galeano has a depth of business experience in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
Ricardo previously served as Vice President of Sales for Latin America for Airbus Defense and Space, Vice President of International Sales at Innovation In Motion Inc, Director of Sales (Biometrics Business Unit) for EMEA at Motorola Inc, plus multiple Sales management positions while at Motorola in Portugal, Spain, Italy, France and Colombia.
Ricardo holds an Engineering degree in Electronics from Santo Tomas University in Colombia, completed multiple specialization courses in laser technology at the Irvine Technology Center in California, and has participated in management seminars at Wharton and holds an Executive MBA from IE (Instituto de Empresa in Madrid Spain).
